Backlot Sluggers — Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of the Backlot Sluggers mobile game ("the app") and this website, both provided by Bigpac7 ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing, or playing the app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
License to play
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and play the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the app, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
Free-to-try and the full-game unlock
The app is free to download and includes a free sample of the game. The full game is unlocked by a single optional one-time in-app purchase. There are no ads, subscriptions, or recurring charges. The purchase is a license to access content inside the app; it has no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
Purchases are processed by Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms. Refund requests are handled under Google Play's refund policy. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device signed in to the same Google account, your unlock can be restored from within the app.
Your data
The app collects no personal data. Game progress is stored only on your device, so uninstalling the app or clearing its data will erase your progress. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Acceptable use
Don't use the app in any way that breaks the law, or that tries to tamper with, bypass, or circumvent the in-app purchase or its license checks.
Intellectual property
The app, including its code, characters, names, artwork, and design, belongs to Bigpac7. Some audio is used under third-party licenses, credited on our home page. Backlot Sluggers is an original game and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any other game, league, or brand.
Updates and availability
We may update, change, or stop offering the app or any of its features at any time. Some updates may be required to keep playing. We don't guarantee that the app will always be available or work on every device.
Disclaimer
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bigpac7 will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data or game progress, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer-protection laws that can't be waived by contract.
Termination
Your license ends automatically if you break these terms. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this address, with the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
